South Bend Rotary What is Rotary?

The Rotary Club of South Bend is a passionate group of professionals in the St. Joseph County area that are committed to serving both our community and the world as a whole. As part of Rotary International, The Rotary Club of South Bend is joined by almost 1.2 million Rotarians in over 168 countries worldwide. For just over a Century, our members have practiced Rotary International’s motto of Service Above Self by giving of their time, talent, and resources to provide humanitarian efforts around the world.

Locally, our club has been involved in numerous projects such as assisting in nearby schools’ renovations, construction of Kid’s Kingdom, and a new band shelter at Potawatomi Park. In addition to large projects, we have provided countless volunteers to support various activities from the planting of flowers in downtown South Bend to the ringing of the Salvation Army bells. Through our annual Thanksgiving Basket program, we have delivered hundreds of baskets to needy families and our Phoenix Scholarship Program has helped numerous students that have overcome much adversity attend college. This is but a brief overview of our club and contributions. We invite you to join us for a meeting to learn more.
